Leonia Public Library Weekly Review (2/20/26)

Hi everyone! Welcome back to our third lesson of the building unit where we make our own designed attachments! In this lesson, we first taught the students about the principles of engineering design such as how to make drawings, strategies for choosing the best design based on task, keeping records, and more. We encouraged the kids to be extra creative today in the way they made their own attachments and overall were very efficient. One group made a box variation of the lift arm and another tried to make a forklift.
