Hi everyone, this week we learned about what density was and how density affected the behavior of objects (such as when they're placed in water) through visual examples on the whiteboard and online simulations. We learned about real-life applications of density in convection currents in the air and in the mantle which drive natural processes. Finally, we built our own mini lava lamps using oil, water, etc. Everyone was engaged throughout the meeting and I look forward to our next meeting!
