# STEM for Others > STEM for Others is a student-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 93-3707307), founded in 2023, that provides free STEM education to K-12 students worldwide through volunteer-led chapters, a free online curriculum, and partner school programs. As of 2026, the organization has reached 11,500+ students across 130+ programs, with 700+ volunteers operating 100+ chapters in the US, Canada, UK, Poland, and internationally. STEM for Others was co-founded by high school students Ryan Kim and Marc Pashin at Bellarmine College Prep. The organization operates on a fully volunteer model — all instructors, chapter presidents, curriculum developers, and staff are students or recent graduates. The organization's free e-learning platform, STEMplore (stemplore.com), offers 20+ actively developed courses built by 150+ volunteer developers. Courses are also delivered in-person at 68+ partner schools and libraries. STEM for Others accepts volunteers as chapter presidents, curriculum developers, software developers, webinar speakers, and mentors.
