Kinnaman Weekly Review (10/2/25)

Hello Coyotes! Welcome back to the new school year, and it is great to have a bunch of new students joining our Coding Club! Today, we did introductions, went over what Python was, what it is used for, possible functionalities, and how it connects to other computer science concepts the kids already learned in school! After that, we dived into the basics of Python coding: print statements. Students experimented with their own print statements and they are really getting the hang of the syntax already, which is impressive considering it's only the first week! Next week, we will embark on a new Python, AI, and ML learning platform and do our lessons partially based off that: Dataquest! With lessons and exercises in Python, it will be really fun for students just getting started with coding. We will also get into more basic Python by going to data types and variable!
