Leonia Weekly Review (12/8/25)

Hi everyone! This was our FINAL CLASS of the unit and before winter break on binary code! We first taught the kids about what binary code was and its applications in actual settings. We quizzed them a bit on what they learned and how much they knew before moving into our main activity, binary bracelets. Their task was to spell out their initials (2 letters or 3 letters) in binary code with black beads representing 1 and white beads representing 0. We gave them a key with all the letters of the alphabet and symbols and let them create their bracelets from there. The kids had a good time making bracelets and learned a lot about binary code in this final class! See you all back for January!
