Leonia Weekly Review (8/13/25)

Hi everyone! This week was our second week. We had our coding lesson today on how to code the hub, the motors, and then the whole robot. We taught them how to use word block code to code the bots, primarily using the SPIKE Prime app to execute the code. We taught them the steps of coding: pseudocode, basic code, and then final code. For the hub, everyone followed the tutorial so that the hub could make a sound or display a smiley face. For the motors, everyone coded it so that they could rotate both ways. For the robot, they were tasked to make it go in a square and then as a challenge on a track. They wrote out their pseudocodes, basic codes, and then their final codes. Everyone was engaged and had a fun time building, and we will be having another class on innovation project next week!
