Wangenheim Middle Weekly Review (2/23/26)

Hi Wildcats! Today was our experiment on helicopters, which we had to delay from last week. Luckily, it was definitely worth the wait, as everyone made very creative and innovative designs. The main aspect of our vehicles was a propeller combined with rubber bands that, when twisted (like a wind-up-toy), allows the helicopters to soar into the air. Using what we learned about lift, in addition to our experience with rubber band cars, certain designs even managed to reach pretty great heights. This experiment was a success and we can’t wait to keep shooting for the sky next week when we design our rockets!
