Leonia Weekly Review (8/20/25)

Hi everyone! This week is our third and final week of the summer robotics program, and this class we had our innovation project lesson. We taught the kids what an innovation project was and what prototyping was. The theme was how we can make school a better place. They first brainstormed some problems that occur in school in 4 different groups and then came up with possible solutions. Then, they made detailed sketches and then built their prototype models with cardboard, markers, and recyclable materials. After building, they made posters presenting the problem, solution, and who they would share their solutions with. We had a fun competition with each group, and the two best won Hello Panda snacks. Everyone had a great time during this crafty class and developed new problem solving skills! Friday will be our last class on outreach and competition!
