Leonia Weekly Review (8/24/25)

Hi everyone! This was our last class of the summer program, and we learned about outreach and competition. We first did outreach, where we taught the kids about spreading robotics to the greater community and the process of hosting events related to robotics. They were separated into two groups and they each made their own posters on their type of outreach project and presented it to the class. After presentations, we taught them the fundamentals of competition and judging: the robot game, robot design, innovation, and outreach. We showed them an example presentation from our old robotics team and showed them various different videos of competition demonstration. They learned a lot and really enjoyed watching other teams’ robots. The program was overall very successful and will potentially start again in October!
