Redmond Weekly Review (5/29/25)

Hey Hawks! Today, we explored origami! We began with a brief history of origami. Then, we learned about its role in modern engineering. Specifically, how NASA uses origami principles in spacecraft design. After that, we started making origami! There were 4 possible designs to create: a ninja star, a crane, a modular origami cube, and a flexagon. Some already had previous experience creating origami and were able to follow instructions independently. Others followed along with our demonstrations and, with guidance, were able to create one of the projects. By the end, everyone was able to complete at least one successful origami creation!
