Oak Weekly Review (10/30/26)

Hey everyone! We have been an established chapter for 3 years now, this year’s session we started back up in September! For our weekly report, this week we excused the students from class due to Halloween; however, last week we worked with the kids to understand geometry, load strength, stability, and optimization when it comes to engineering! After lecturing, our project of the day was to utilize what they learnt and build a structure from pasta and marshmallow in a competition. Although being the tallest was the goal, we put it through an earthquake simulator to make sure it withstands the force. Pictures of our winners!
