British School Warsaw Weekly Review (3/5/26)

Hello everyone! This week we learned about combustions using two practicals - the whoosh bottle and methane bubbles. We learned that alcohols like ethanol are flammable and how fire works inside a whoosh bottle using the Bernoulli principle. We also revisited the fire triangle and its dangers, and finally set methane bubbles on fire as a demonstration. Next week we will be making miniature rockets using ethanol and plastic bottles!
