Horace Greeley Weekly Review (5/12/26)

Hi everyone! In this workshop, students investigated the four fundamental forces of flight by building paper airplanes. After seeing our example, everyone quickly built a nearly identical first design, but when tested, none flew very far. That set up the real focus of the session: iteration. Working in pairs with our volunteers across two teams, students used the scientific method to redesign and test their airplanes, competing to see who could achieve the farthest flight. The exercise gave students hands-on exposure to the methodology behind real-world scientific experiments.
