Kinnaman Elementary Weekly Review (2/25/26)

Hello Coyotes! At the last meeting on Feb 25th, we went over a few coding exercises for students to try on their own! After the basics of print statements, built-in functions, variables, and arithmetic/comparison operators, the students tried exercises with conditionals. We first went over the main syntax of if/elif/else statements and while loops. Even though it may seem I am reteaching the kids the same topics, it is because they haven't had as much exposure to typing the actual syntax by hand as they have to practice problems verbally. We will cover for loops and a full review of conditionals in Python at our next meeting on March 17. We will not have a meeting for the next two weeks because all high school juniors are taking state testing during those times, which we cannot miss. See you in a few weeks, and go Coyotes!
