Hello everyone! We're excited to introduce our newest chapter, which launched in January at the Chantilly Regional Library. Since then, we've been meeting every two weeks on Sunday mornings from 12:30 to 1:30 PM, and it has been an incredible experience so far.
At our meetings, we teach general sciences spanning a wide range of topics, from Chemistry and Biology to Physics and beyond. Every session is designed to be engaging and hands-on, with at least one pre-planned STEM activity each meeting. Our goal is to make science feel accessible, exciting, and fun, so students walk away not just with new knowledge, but with a genuine curiosity about the world around them.
Whether we're conducting simple experiments, exploring how everyday things work, or diving into a new concept together, there's always something to discover. No two meetings are the same!
Our chapter is open to everyone, though the activities and curriculum are best suited for students in grades 2 through 7. If you have a young learner who loves asking "why?" and "how?", this could be the perfect fit for them.
We'd love to have you join us! Come check out a meeting and see what we're all about.
