Wangenheim Middle Weekly Review (3/16/26)

Hi Wildcats! Today we had a lecture on microorganisms and safe water. We went over what microorganisms are, porosity, permeability, water filtration, and the structure of water filters. Additionally, we went outside for our demonstration on permeability by comparing how water flows through soil and sand. We observed that the water flowed faster through the sand and applied our knowledge on porosity to explain why this occurred. Lastly, we introduced our project for next week which is building water filters! We drew simple models and ended the day with a kahoot. We can’t wait for the upcoming project next week!
