Horace Greeley Weekly Review (5/26/26)

Hi everyone! In this workshop, students learned about the concepts of potential and kinetic energy by creating mini-models of cars using paper, toothpicks, hot glue, and cut paper strips. We'd originally planned to use bottle caps for the wheels, but opted for layered paper wheels instead. Building the cars turned out to be more time-intensive than expected, so the session was focused primarily on the construction process itself. Through building these models, students were able to develop a stronger understanding of the processes associated with energy conversion within the context of motion. This marked our final workshop with IS10Q for the year - it's been a genuine pleasure working with these students, and we can't wait to be back next year.
