About Jiya
Hi! I'm Jiya Teli, currently a junior at Skyline High School and an anticipated IB Diploma Candidate. I'm passionate about using my management, communication, and educational skills to bring equitable education to students everywhere, which is why I joined STEM for Others. I've also developed my skills through mentoring robotics and managing projects at other nonprofits such as MOVE, where I am the co-president and work on providing financial literacy education to students at an early age. I've also coauthored a math textbook titled “Line of Reasoning: Why Math is Mathing” to raise money for the nonprofit Pencils of Promise. Aside from academics, I love baking, reading, and backpacking!
