About Kat
Hey there! My name is Kat and I'm a senior at Burlingame High School. I remember some of my most influential classes as a kid were ones where we got to learn new artistic techniques and styles. However, as I reached middle school I noticed arts were far less emphasized in comparison to other STEM subjects, leading me to develop a passion for improving access to quality education. Working for STEM for Others has been an outlet for me to make this happen, and I hope my work designing arts-based curriculums will encourage other young artists to continue pursuing their passions.
