Basis Oro Valley Weekly Review (9/20/26)

In the past two meetings, we did introductions, and built both spaghetti structures and catapults. Students learned about the importance of structural engineering through constructing spaghetti towers, testing out how different shapes held up. This past week students learned about forces, and specifically about how potential energy is converted into kinetic energy through constructing catapults and testing launches. Students are overall engaging very well and have been taking scientific principles into account when engineering!
