Hi everyone! This Monday’s class on 8/21 was our first day starting pre-algebra. We began with a short intro to get to know the students and shared some fun facts about ourselves to build a comfortable classroom environment. Then we jumped into the basics: we went over key terms and simple arithmetic to make sure everyone had a solid foundation. After that, we introduced the order of operations and the properties of addition and multiplication, showing how these rules help keep math consistent and organized. The students worked through some practice problems before leaving, and they were very engaged and willing to participate. Overall, it was a strong start to the course and a great way to kick off our pre-algebra journey!
