Hi everyone! This week was our final meeting with us finalizing the small Chemistry unit. For the final week of our program, our students explored what non-Newtonian fluids are. After a quick review of last week’s chemistry concepts, we learned how non-Newtonian fluids can behave both like a liquid and a solid depending on the amount of force applied. They then put their learning into action by making and playing with oobleck! Although the rain kept us from doing the activity outside, everyone still had lots of fun experimenting and exploring this interesting substance.

Thank you for everyone who participated throughout the program, it was an amazing experienced and we hope to see you next year! Good luck to all graduating Grade 8s, we wish you the best!
