Hello Coyotes! At our last meeting on Tuesday, May 12, we started a new computer programming activity for all the students, using everything we learned so far in Python! We couldn't hold a meeting last week because the teacher supervisor was sick and there was no one else to supervise the club that day. Students chose to make a Python game that models the game of chopsticks, a game played between two players with two hands. This meeting was mostly focused on writing pseudo-code, or code that doesn't match the syntax exactly but gives an idea of what the program should be able to do. Next week will be our second-last meeting of the year, and I can't wait for the students to show their knowledge of Python syntax and code as they make this game! See you all next week, and go Coyotes!
