St John's Ravenscourt Weekly Review (11/20/25)

Hi everyone! In our meeting (November 20th), we did our Swab A Surface Bacteria Growth Experiment. We swabbed different surfaces, focusing on collecting types of surfaces - clean and dirty. We collected our bacteria using nutritional agar and left them for a week to see the best results. To reflect, we talked about why we did this experiment and how this connects to what we are learning about. To end off, we played some solar system trivia that the students enjoyed thoroughly. Next week, we will look at our bacterial systems, create some molecules, and do our baking soda and vinegar experiment!
