St John's Ravenscourt Weekly Review (11/27/25)

Hi everyone! Today, we review our results from our bacteria growth lab last week. The dirtiest surfaces were a student's keyboard, the bottom of a shoe, a fork from the dining hall and the bottom of a sink. The cleanest surfaces were a door handle and a coin. We discussed how bacteria affect our lives and tested whether our hypothesis was correct. At the end of our session, we tested the baking soda and vinegar experiment. We discussed how it happens by using examples such as combustion and the release of carbon dioxide. Finally, we discussed our next activity, building molecules and the Coke and Mentos experiment.
