Wangenheim Middle Weekly Review (3/24/26)

Hey Wildcats! Yesterday we created water filters using what we learned about porosity and permeability last week. Using cloth, soil, sand, charcoal and gravel, everyone attempted to make filters that could clean dirty water the most. We tested the filters one by one, comparing how fast the water takes to flow through the filter and how clean the water turns out. We noticed that everyone’s filters individually had different proportions of the materials which affected how much the filter cleaned the water. Overall, these filters were a success and we’re excited to learn about magnetism in two weeks!
