Wangenheim Weekly Review (1/5/25)

Hi Wildcats! Today was our first day meeting after winter break. We learned about buoyancy and surface tension and how they relate to engineering. Our demonstration involved a video of water striders and an explanation regarding how they employ these concepts to skate on top of water. Next, we learned about the history of boats and common structural elements that they use. Finally, everyone drew models of the boats they’d make next time before competing in a kahoot on the topic of buoyancy.
