Wangenheim Weekly Review (9/29/25)

Hey Wildcats! Today we had a lecture on energy and catapults. First, we described energy and how it can be categorized into potential and kinetic energy. We also discussed different forms of energy such as elastic and gravitational energy. We then went over Newton’s 3 laws and passed around a Newton’s cradle in order to demonstrate them. Finally, we discussed the structure of catapults and the difference between them and trebuchets and everyone got to work on designing the catapults they’d be making next week. Before we left, we played a short Kahoot to test our knowledge on energy’s forms.
