Wangenheim Weekly Review (9/8/25)

Hi Wildcats, today was our first official day meeting as a club!! We did introductions, talked about the engineering curriculum for this year, and got to know all of our attendees. As an activity, we designed flagpole name cards. Using a ruler and a binder clip as the base, we fastened string and some other materials to imitate the structure of a flagpole and its halyard. Then, we cut up and drew on rectangular pieces of paper to design our flags. By including names on our flags, we now have our own engineering-themed “name cards” that we can use to familiarize ourselves with one another throughout the year. We’re so excited to start our first lesson on gravity next week and we’re ready for a great year!
