Hi, I’m Aarav Rao, a high school student at Jasper High School in Plano, Texas, passionate about STEM—from building machine learning models that automatically sorts recyclables, from organic matter and e-waste to creating a smart waste bin (yes, it’s real) and hosting the Lighting Bytes Podcast where I dive into the latest tech trends. As Chapter Founder/President of STEM For Others – Plano Area, I lead initiatives to make STEM accessible and fun for students of all ages, and when I’m not geeking out over tech, you can find me on the Tennis JV team trying to keep my serves as sharp as my coding skills.
