Hibbard Weekly Review (10/30/25)

Hi everyone! These kids at Hibbard Elementary School are grades K-2nd, and they worked on rubber band helicopters, the same craft we used at the Albany Park Library workshop. We had a great turnout of 10 high school volunteers who were able to split up and mentor multiple groups of kids. As the whole class counted in Spanish, the children saw that it took about treinta times to twist the rubber band so that the helicopter had enough energy to fly! Each young engineer was given some candy for their amazing efforts!
