Kinnaman Weekly Review (12/17/25)

December 17, 2025
Hey Coyotes! In our last meeting before the winter break (December 17), we went over a brief introduction of data structures, which are similar to data types, but they can carry multiple variables at once. The 4 types of data structures we learned about were lists, dictionaries, tuples, and sets, the first two of which students will be using and applying a lot more to their coding. After we went over an introduction, we went over a couple real life situations in which students had to pick what data structure(s) they would use in the given scenario. After that, we went over a few examples of iterating through and editing data structures using some more new Python built-in functions. Not many students were here today due to winter break or illness, so we will review this more when we come back from the break, after which we will start our final projects for the semester, combining everything that we have learned! See you next calendar year, have a great winter break, and go Coyotes!
