Kinnaman Weekly Review (4/2/25)

Hey Coyotes! Last meeting on Wednesday, April 2, we mostly dedicated our time towards making our own user functions to do simple tasks! The students learned the basic syntax of functions, how to return variables and strings, and also got to work on some practice problems regarding functions using both numbers and strings. Towards the end of our time, students got to work on debugging certain aspects of code, and they did very well. The debugging part combines our knowledge of the syntaxes of everything we learned so far, so I am really excited for them. The next meeting (on Tuesday, April 8th) will be dedicated towards debugging code, as well as a short introduction to data structures, which involves lists, dictionaries, tuples, and sets. I will most likely not be there next week, so one of the other substitute instructors will cover for me. See you soon, Coyotes!
