Leonia Weekly Review (10/29/25)

Hi everyone! Today was the first class of our 2025-2026 Intro to Robotics Program! We started the lesson off with introductions and by prompting the kids to discuss and share what they thought robotics was. Then we briefly introducing FIRST LEGO League to them and showing them a demo video. The main activity was a spaghetti tower challenge, where the kids had to built stable towers from 30 pieces of thin spaghetti and tape to hold a big marshmallow up top, teaching them engineering design principles and structural integrity. The kids worked in 4 groups and each produced their own unique towers. We ended the lesson off with a challenge and the first group won!
