St John's Ravenscourt Weekly Review (12/11/25)

Hi everyone! Today was our last session for the term! We created different molecules like water, caffeine, pentyl ethanoate and some students created their own molecules! We recognized the different elements that we used to create the molecules and what they do in the world around us. To end our final session, we finally did the Coke and Mentos experiment. The students hypothesized what would happen to the Coke when the Mentos were put inside the Coke. It was very cold outside when we did the experiment, so the children observed from the inside and exclaimed in amazement. Everyone has had so much fun during these 4 sessions, and we will continue next term. Have an amazing winter break, everyone!
