Hey Wildcats! Today we had a lecture on how rockets work. We talked about chemical reactions, chemical energy, and physical versus chemical changes to prepare them for the project. We also explained the structure of rockets like the nose, fins, and combustion chamber. Additionally, everyone learned about the use of thrust to propel a rocket and then had time to come up with their own designs. We ended the day with an engaging kahoot about chemical energy and can’t wait for the project!
